DVS TO SUPPLY CAR DVD ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEMS TO VISTEON

Visteon, a Ford Motor subsidiary has chosen DVS, to supply its in-car DVD entertainment system. Visteon is a leading automotive supplier with revenues in excess of $ 17 million. These DVD entertainment systems will be factory fitted on to Ford cars at their manufacturing plant in Brazil. These cars are for domestic consumption as well as exports.

The products being shipped are from the hugely successful VXM Series. The in-car DVD entertainment system consists of a DVD player with a LCD screen, which can be connected to a docking station mounted on the inside of the car roof. Manufactured using DVS’s patented optical drive stability techniques, these players ensure smooth viewing pleasure while the car is in motion. All of DVS’s automotive products incorporate its proprietary anti-shock and memory buffer technology for smooth performance on the road.
